It’s The Missing Piece’s first Pre-Release event for the Digimon Card Game! Be the first to play with the new ACE Digimon and X-Antibody forms of some of your old favorites! What kind of event is a Digimon Pre-Release? Well, you see…
4:00pm – In person sign ups begin for any players that didn’t register through our website. This is also a great time to get any food, drinks or supplies like card sleeves you might want for the event, and to get to know the other players that are participating.
4:30pm – Deckbuilding begins! Players will get 6 booster packs, and then have 50 minutes to build a 40 card deck from the cards they get in those packs. This will be familiar to any players that have been to one of our Draft events previously, and just like in those events, you can ignore the color requirements when digivolving your Digimon. There’s also no limit to how many copies of one card you can have in your deck, so if you open 5 or more copies of a card you want to include in your deck, you can use them all!
5:20pm – Round 1 begins! Players will play against each other in three 50-minute rounds. Each round consists of a best 2-out-of-3 match.
Around 8:00pm – Prizes will be awarded! All players can expect to get a prize for participating in the event, as well as additional prizes based on their performance in the event!
